Process of Licensing

For practicing you must get license, for that you have to pass out from NAPLEX (North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination) and when you need to practice in more than one states you have to pass out Multi Pharmacy Jurisprudence exam (MPJE) for more than one stat or many states, there are some states in the USA, like Virginia, Arkansas, California, where they do not accept MPJE exam, they maintain their own jurisdiction for pharmacists. If you keep on practicing, you always need to upgrade the license.

Type of Job

When the candidates are absorbed as the pharmacists, they are work in various settings, like hospitals, nursing homes and clinics, in drug stores, government agencies, public health care agencies, and different schools, as per rule they work 40 hours in a week, when they work in hospitals, they need to work in odd hours, for serving well they must have to gain good communication skills , good managerial skills as some of the pharmacists in practical need to manage retail pharmacy and look over the staffs.
