Retirement & Pensions

I am from India, in our country the retirement age of central government staffs will be 60 and the state government employees will get their retirement at 58 years. Most of the private concerns employees job also limited at 58 years. After retirement all the retired persons will get pensions.

We must do certain formalities and fill up the form to get pension and the pension will be provided after submitting all the required documents. We will get our pensions as soon as possible by submitting the proof and evidence. Most of the employees will be settled with a good amount at the time of retirement as their service pay.

The pension amounts are differ for state and central government employees. Private sector employees will receive a low pension compared with the government employees. Most of the old age persons will get a lot of benefits with this pension amount. The pension rates are changed once in a while and employees will get benefits with the highest rates based on the new changes.

HI Vidya, my father is retired from a central government company, he gets a provident fund pension which is very less as compared to the salary that he use to get, Is there any other pension that he might get like any govt pension that he is eligible of, we are unaware and never filled any pension forms apart from the Provident fund.
